Commander Ag-Quip's Shearing Sheds are renowned for their cutting edge design, utilising custom designed recessed drop chutes and offering a return race option in both the Commander Ag-Quip Modular Shearing Stands and in the Custom Shearing Shed fitouts.


Recessed Drop Chutes

  • Commander Ag-Quip Shearing Shed sheep drop chutes are recessed below the board for ease of sheep release.
  • Drops sheep below the grating, removing labour required to move sheep out of the shed on the grating, sorting shorn sheep and woollies.
  • Sheep drop into either individual count-out pens or one large holding pen below the grating.
  • Large storage shelf above chute for shearers gear, keeping the shearing board clear and safer.

Return Race

  • Commander Ag-Quip Shearing Sheds offers the optional return race for shorn sheep.
  • Substitute to our recessed chutes when it is not an option to drop sheep below the grating.
  • Option in both the Commander Ag-Quip Modular Shearing Stands and in the Custom Shearing Shed fitouts.
